Insulation for building elements

Insulation for building elements

Beyond the small heat conductivity, the long lifespan is one of the most important features of the polyurethane foam.

It is also advantageous that the heat loss in a seamless connection is much smaller than in traditional insulation boards.

Those are not in position to adapt to the unevenness of the surface.

Polyurethane spray foam is so elastic, that it can compensate shrinkage and expansion motions within 1,0 cm/lfm. No static problems occur, because the old roof panel is stressed with little weight.

By means of ECOPUR-spot foam, the gaps and cracks are completely closed. The function is served until the building stands. Because of the heat in summer and the cold in winter, a proper insulation is needed in the expansion of the roof.

Because of the small rafter deepness in old buildings, PUR can be used as common rafter insulation, no battens needed.

Different materials and roof forms pose no problems.

The old roof panel doesn’t have to be removed and disposed of with much effort, whereas it can be served as a background in the restructuring with ECOPUR spray-foam. There are no operation interruptions during the restructuring. Because of the high vapor permeability, the old wet roof building dries up quickly.

After the restoration, the roof is thermally immobilized, that means the tensions caused by temperature and weather are almost cut out. Moisture infiltration is not possible, due to the good background and adhesion, not even in case of the mechanical damage of the roof panel.
